Stanisław Rejter was born in Miechucino near Kartuzy, where he attended and finished primary school. He went to secondary school in Kartuzy and then studied at the Technical University of Gdańsk. In 1966 he was awarded the Engineer Degree. While being a student, he was an active member of the Students’ Club „Ormuzd“. After graduating, Rejter involved himself in the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association in the Wejherowo branch.
He worked in the port of Gdynia and was later promoted director of one of the departments.
Rejter made his debut in Kaszëbë in 1960. His works were printed in Biuletyn ZK-P (the Newsletter of the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association) and can also be found in the anthology Wybór współczesnej poezji kaszubskiej (1967), Modra struna (1973) and Wëstrzód dôczi (1977).
